11oz warm snail moon mug - Fairfax California Mug

Ok, so I have a weird thing about snails. I grew up in Fairfax, CA. which is a very cool place.  I love it there.  When I was a kid we had a huge african daisy plant that took over 1/2 of our yard.  Every time that it rained the snails would go on a trek across the concrete paved walk way to the grass side of the yard.  It was like an exodus.  I don't know why, but every time it would happen.  My brother Aaron and I would collect up the snails and have races with them, generally mess with them, and yes, throw them at the cars that drove down our street.  Yes this was horrible, I know!!!  In honor of these sad lost warriors I have created this mug.  I also threw in some blackberry bushes, because there were lots of them everywhere.  Maybe if the snails lived in the blackberry bushes then the little kids in the area would not have messed with them.  Anyway, I still love my snailies, they were so gross but cool.  The weird retractable eyes and tiny mouth...  such an interesting creature.

Here is the information from the print company:

.: These 11oz (0.33 l) mugs are made with durable white ceramic so that your prints can stand out.
.: All mugs feature a comfortable C-handle and a shiny finish so that they're both easy to use and great to look at.
.: Drink confidently on a daily basis as all mugs are lead and BPA-free.

these are print on demand items - which is better for the environment.  They take a bit longer to ship.

I would hand wash these and not use them in the microwave.  It says on the description that you can, however I bought one and it started to peel after washing it in the dishwasher and using it for a year.
