Hello! Well it is another day and I have entered another art competition. I do this about every other week. Todays competition is on Spoonflower and the theme is "Heritage Revival". I really like the way my design turned out this time. I did two rabbits (in procreate) facing each other, using a line art technique that was popular in the 1800s when things were not printed in color. The engraving plate had Lines to represent shadows and dimension, instead of hand shading. I did not fully do this accurately, because I really don't have that level of patience. Plus I was doing it more for the "look" ranther than to achieve actual dimensionality in the piece. I really liked how it turned out and I am going to definitely do some more pieces using this technique.
